Creative Incubator programme

Westminster International University in Tashkent, in collaboration with the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and IT Park Uzbekistan, has successfully concluded its two-month Creative Incubator programme — launched in February to support emerging entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan’s creative industries.

The programme brought together talented individuals for an intensive journey of bootcamps, field visits to leading creative hubs, and expert-led workshops — including sessions by renowned international curator and the new Chief Curator of the Centre for Contemporary Art in Tashkent - Sara Raza.

The Final Demo Day, held in Tashkent, marked the culmination of the programme. Out of 79 applicants, 9 outstanding teams were selected to pitch their ventures to a panel of investors, cultural leaders, and creative economy stakeholders.

Congratulations to the top three teams:

🥇– Almanac (30 million UZS): A digital platform for learning traditional calligraphy through structured content and community interaction.
🥈– Tezhip.uz (20 million UZS): A project focused on preserving and teaching Turkic-Islamic decorative arts.
🥉- Creatives.uz (10 million UZS): Online platform connecting creative professionals with businesses in need of branding, design and content development.

Over two months, participants explored topics ranging from product development and business model innovation, marketing and branding, to intellectual property, fundraising and technology integration— building real-world skills and networks to drive creative innovation.
