In 2026, Abdulaziz Madaminov was selected for the prestigious Silkroad Fellows Program and accepted into the Silkroad Innovation Hub in San Francisco. Through this six-week Silicon Valley based fellowship, he is representing his startup, AviLingo, while working alongside leading mentors, investors, and entrepreneurs from Central Eurasia and the U.S. technology ecosystem. Fonus Kids

WIUT alumnus Diyorbek Tavakkalov attracted $75000 + investment for his startup Fonus Kids which is a safe, ad-free media platform designed for children and trusted by parents, in which every cartoon, story and game on the platform is carefully curated to provide meaningful and secure content for young audiences.

In 2026, Fonus Kids was recognised as the winner of the Hult Prize 2026 National Final, one of the world’s largest student entrepreneurship competitions, held at WIUT. Representing Uzbekistan at the Global Accelerator stage, the team earned the opportunity to compete for a $1 million grant to further develop and scale the project.
